Edge AI app design and prototype for Intel Technologies.

Lab1 collaborated with Intel Technologies to design an intuitive, high-performance interface for an Edge AI demo application built around a New York Police Department scenario.

The concept: help police dispatchers identify stolen vehicles across thousands of surveillance cameras, predict their escape routes, and coordinate a response in real time.

Thousands of cameras. Zero lag.

Intel’s core business is hardware: it designs, manufactures and sells the processors inside PCs, servers and edge devices. Powered by Intel’s Edge technology, the application processes information closer to its source, reducing latency and enabling faster responses.

When a stolen vehicle appears on camera, AI identifies its location and predicts three possible escape routes. With a single click, the dispatcher can send a patrol unit to intercept it.

A complex network of cameras, data, and AI — brought together in one seamless experience.

Complex intelligence. Simple decisions.

Our challenge was to make a sophisticated system feel effortless. We designed a clean, modern interface where live camera feeds, vehicle locations, and AI-generated predictions come together in a clear visual experience.

Every interaction was designed around speed, clarity, and confidence — helping dispatchers turn real-time intelligence into action with just one click.
